Tags & Segmentation

Tags let you organize and segment your consumer contacts for targeted communication and analysis.

Create a tag

  1. Navigate to Customers in the sidebar
  2. Click Manage Tags in the toolbar
  3. Click New Tag
  4. Enter a tag name (e.g., "VIP", "Warranty Issue", "Newsletter Subscriber")
  5. Click Save

Assign tags to contacts

Individual assignment

  1. Click on a contact to open their profile
  2. Click Add Tag
  3. Select one or more tags
  4. Tags are applied immediately

Bulk assignment

  1. In the Contacts tab, select multiple contacts using the checkboxes
  2. Click Tag in the bulk actions toolbar
  3. Select the tags to apply
  4. Click Apply

Tip: Use bulk tagging after filtering contacts — for example, filter by a specific product, then tag all matching contacts as "Product X Owners."

Filter by tags

In the Contacts tab, use the tag filter to view only contacts with specific tags. This is useful for:

  • Identifying customers who purchased a specific product line
  • Segmenting contacts for targeted follow-up
  • Tracking support issues across customer groups

Manage tags

To edit or delete tags:

  1. Click Manage Tags in the toolbar
  2. Click a tag to rename it
  3. Click the delete icon to remove a tag

Tip: Deleting a tag removes it from all contacts. This action cannot be undone.
