Tags & Segmentation
Tags let you organize and segment your consumer contacts for targeted communication and analysis.
Create a tag
- Navigate to Customers in the sidebar
- Click Manage Tags in the toolbar
- Click New Tag
- Enter a tag name (e.g., "VIP", "Warranty Issue", "Newsletter Subscriber")
- Click Save
Assign tags to contacts
Individual assignment
- Click on a contact to open their profile
- Click Add Tag
- Select one or more tags
- Tags are applied immediately
Bulk assignment
- In the Contacts tab, select multiple contacts using the checkboxes
- Click Tag in the bulk actions toolbar
- Select the tags to apply
- Click Apply
Tip: Use bulk tagging after filtering contacts — for example, filter by a specific product, then tag all matching contacts as "Product X Owners."
Filter by tags
In the Contacts tab, use the tag filter to view only contacts with specific tags. This is useful for:
- Identifying customers who purchased a specific product line
- Segmenting contacts for targeted follow-up
- Tracking support issues across customer groups
Manage tags
To edit or delete tags:
- Click Manage Tags in the toolbar
- Click a tag to rename it
- Click the delete icon to remove a tag
Tip: Deleting a tag removes it from all contacts. This action cannot be undone.
