Billing and plans

Veribl has three plans: Starter, Growth and Enterprise. New accounts start with a 14-day Growth trial. This article explains what each plan includes, what happens when the trial ends, and how to pay, change plan and see your usage. Plan changes and payment details are for people with the Manage billing and plan permission, which only the Owner has by default.

Team seat limits are enforced, and pending invites count as seats. See Team management. Archived products do not count toward the product limit. Enterprise pricing is arranged with sales: use Talk to sales on the plans page.

Free trial

New accounts get 14 days of Growth with no payment method needed. During the trial you have Growth limits and features, and the plan shows as Trial with the days left.

To keep Growth, add a payment method before the trial ends. Settings › Billing tells you when the trial ends and whether a card is on file.

What happens when a trial ends

  • With a payment method: Growth continues on that card.
  • Without one: the subscription is cancelled and the account moves to Starter. You then have a 3-day grace period.
  • After the grace period: products beyond the Starter limit of 100 are archived, oldest first, and webhooks are turned off. Nothing is deleted. Each of these changes is recorded in the Audit log.

If you subscribe again before the grace period ends, you keep everything. The same grace period applies if a paid subscription is cancelled.

Open billing

Go to Settings › Billing. It has three views: Overview, Payments and Plans.

Overview

Shows your plan and its status (Active, Trial, Payment past due, Canceled, or the date it ends), plus:

  • Billing cycle — start and end dates, and when it renews
  • Payment method — card brand, last four digits and expiry
  • Monthly total — your plan price before tax

Below that, Usage shows Products, AI conversations and Team members against your plan's limits. The bar turns amber at 80% and red at 100%. AI conversations reset at the start of each month. QR scans are not limited on any plan.

Payments

Shows your next payment, payment method and billing address, a chart of paid invoices over the last 12 months, and an Invoices table with date, invoice number, status and amount. Open an invoice or download its PDF from the row.

Plans

Compares the three plans. From here you can Choose annual or choose monthly billing for Growth, and Talk to sales for Enterprise.

Upgrade to Growth

  1. Go to Settings › Billing and click Change plan (or open Plans)
  2. Choose Choose annual or the monthly option
  3. Pay on the Stripe checkout page

Change card, address or cancel

Click Manage subscription, Change method or Update details. These open the Stripe billing portal, where you can update your card, billing address, billing email and tax ID, and manage the subscription. Veribl never handles card details itself. Downgrade on the Starter plan also opens the portal.

The portal is available once your account has a Stripe customer record. If you don't see these buttons, you may not have the billing permission.
