The three statuses
- Draft: only your team can see it. Customers who scan the QR code see a "not available yet" page. New products start as drafts.
- Live: customers who scan the QR code see the product page.
- Archived: hidden from customers and removed from your active catalog. Customers who scan see a "no longer available" page. All data is kept.
The status shows as a pill in the Status column of the product list, which you can also filter by (All, Live, Draft, Archived).
Preview a product
Click Preview at the top of the product editor. For a draft or archived product, it opens the customer page with a private preview link. For a live product the button reads View live page.
Go live
- Open the product from Products.
- Switch on Live at the top of the page, or click Go live in the banner shown on products that are not live.
To publish several at once, select them in the product list and choose Go live. You need the permission to publish products; without it you see the status but cannot change it.
Take a product offline
- Open the product.
- Switch off Live and confirm Unpublish.
The product goes back to Draft. From the list, you can also use ⋯ › Unpublish on a row. Your QR codes keep working, so you can go live again without reprinting.
Archive a product
- Open the product, click ⋯ and choose Archive, then confirm.
- Or select products in the list and choose Archive.
Restore an archived product
Open the archived product and click Restore, or select it in the Archived view of the product list. You can also use Restore and go live from the row's ⋯ menu. A restored product comes back as a Draft unless you chose to go live.
