Customizing Email Templates
Customize the content and appearance of your automated emails to match your brand voice.
Access email settings
- Navigate to Settings > Emails (or click Customize on any email in Automations)
- Select the email type you want to customize
What you can customize
For each email type, you can edit:
- Subject line — the email subject (supports template variables)
- Heading — the main headline in the email body
- Body text — the primary message content
- Call-to-action text — the button label
- Call-to-action URL — where the button links to
Template variables
Use these variables in your subject lines, headings, and body text — they're replaced with actual values when the email is sent:
| Variable | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| {{product_name}} | Name of the registered product | "Wireless Headphones Pro" |
| {{brand_name}} | Your company name | "Acme Electronics" |
| {{customer_first_name}} | Consumer's first name | "Sarah" |
| {{warranty_expiry}} | Warranty expiration date | "March 15, 2028" |
Email branding
All automated emails use a consistent branded layout:
- Your company logo in the header
- Your accent color as a highlight bar
- Unsubscribe link in the footer (required for compliance)
The logo and accent color are pulled from your Help Center settings.
Tip: Keep subject lines under 50 characters for best deliverability and open rates. Use the consumer's first name for personalization.
Preview emails
After editing, click Send Test Email to preview the email in your inbox before it goes live.
