Give Claude your product manuals and it writes them out as the help articles on each product page. When a customer scans the QR code on the product, everything the paper manual says is there: setup, cleaning, troubleshooting, specifications and safety, easy to read on a phone.
Claude reads each PDF, plans articles that cover the whole manual, and adds them to Veribl through Veribl's MCP server. It can also create the products and attach the original PDFs.
This works in claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code and other apps that support MCP (Model Context Protocol). It's on the Growth and Enterprise plans.
1. Add Veribl to Claude
claude.ai and Claude Desktop: go to Settings › Connectors, click Add custom connector and enter:
https://app.veribl.com/api/mcp
Claude opens Veribl: sign in, choose what Claude can do (products, passports and articles are on; your customers' contacts and registrations stay off) and click Allow. It shows up in Settings › API keys as "Claude (connected app)".
Claude Code: create an API key in Settings › API keys with Products, Passports and Articles set to Read and write, then run:
claude mcp add --transport http veribl https://app.veribl.com/api/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer vdpp_your_key_here"2. Give Claude your manuals
Drop the PDFs into the chat and ask, for example:
Here are the manuals for our 12 air purifiers. Write the help articles for each product from its manual. Create any product that isn't in Veribl yet.
Claude matches each manual to a product (or creates it), reads the whole manual and writes one article per topic, grouped into sections like "Getting started" and "Troubleshooting". It keeps every number, setting and warning exactly as the manual says and doesn't make anything up.
It also:
- Adds the manual's images: crops the diagrams and illustrations and puts each one at the right step
- Translates every article into the other languages you sell in (Settings › Languages)
- Fills in your passport with what the manual states: materials, disposal and recycling, expected lifetime, battery details. It never publishes a passport; you do.
- Adds spare parts and accessories with their part numbers
Manuals you already uploaded to Veribl work too: ask Claude to "write the articles from the manuals in Veribl".
Review before it goes live
Claude asks whether to publish the articles straight away or save them as drafts. Drafts aren't shown to customers: open the product in Veribl to read and edit them, then publish, or ask Claude to publish them once you've checked.
Each article shows where it came from, for example "Generated through the Claude connection by Anna Berg, from p1-manual.pdf, pages 12–13", so you can check it against the manual. Every change Claude makes is in the audit log, and every call is in Settings › API keys › API activity.
