Integrations connect Veribl to the tools your team already uses: Shopify, Zendesk, Claude and Akeneo, plus the REST API and webhooks if you want to build your own. This article is for admins who set up connections.
You can reach them two ways. Click Integrations in the sidebar for a quick popup, or open Settings › Integrations for the full page. Both show the same list, with Manage in Settings at the bottom of the popup.
Connection status
Each tool shows a status next to its name:
- Connected: the tool is set up and turned on. Shopify shows Connected for one store, or the number of stores, for example 2 stores.
- Turned off: the tool is set up but switched off.
- API & webhooks add-on: shown on Claude and on Build your own when your plan does not include the add-on yet.
A tool you have not set up shows no status, and its button reads Connect (or Set up). Once set up, the button reads Manage.
Shopify
Import your products, and see orders, revenue and warranty sales in Analytics. Click Connect and follow the steps. See Shopify app.
Zendesk
When the AI assistant hands a chat to your team, Veribl can create a Zendesk ticket for it.
Connect Zendesk
- Go to Settings › Integrations and click Zendesk.
- Enter your Zendesk subdomain: the first part of your Zendesk address. For
your-company.zendesk.com, enteryour-company. - Enter the Agent email of a Zendesk agent.
- Enter the API token. In Zendesk, find it under Admin > Apps and integrations > APIs > Zendesk API.
- Click Test Connection. A green message says you are connected as that user.
- Save your changes with the unsaved changes bar.
When you come back later, the token shows only its last four characters. Leave it blank to keep the current token.
Behaviour
Under Behavior, Auto-create tickets on escalation turns ticket creation on or off. When it is on, the page shows Connected. When it is off, it shows Disabled and the Integrations list shows Turned off.
Recent tickets lists the last tickets created from chat escalations, with date, topic, status and a link to the ticket in Zendesk. If a ticket could not be created, the row shows Error.
To disconnect, click Remove and confirm. Escalated chats then stop creating tickets. You need permission to manage integrations to save or remove the connection.
Claude
Claude reads your product manuals and writes them as the articles on each product page. Set up opens Settings › API Keys at the Connect Claude section. See Connect Claude. It needs the API & webhooks add-on.
Akeneo PIM
Import products and their details from your Akeneo catalog. The page is Products › Import › Integrations, and you can open it from the Akeneo PIM row.
- Enter your API URL, for example
https://your-instance.cloud.akeneo.com. - Enter the Client ID and Client Secret of your Akeneo connection.
- Enter the API Username and Password.
- Click Test Connection. You must test successfully before you can save.
- Click Save Configuration.
Saved secrets show as masked. To change them, type a new value.
To import, click Import Products from Akeneo. Veribl pulls every product from your catalog. Products whose model number already exists in Veribl are skipped. When it finishes, you see how many were imported, skipped and failed.
The Field Mapping table on the page shows how Akeneo attributes map to Veribl fields:
| Akeneo | Veribl |
|---|---|
| identifier (SKU) | Model number |
| name | Model name |
| description | Description |
| ean or gtin | EAN / GTIN |
| weight | Weight |
| power_consumption | Power |
| energy_class | Energy rating |
| First category | Category |
Build your own
For your own systems, use the REST API (products, passports, registrations and contacts, with API keys you control) and Webhooks (events sent to any URL the moment they happen). Both need the API & webhooks add-on. The Build your own section shows the add-on label until you have it.
- API keys opens Settings › API Keys. See REST API and API keys.
- Webhooks opens Settings › Webhooks. See Webhooks.
Missing a tool?
Type the tool you use into the Missing a tool? box and click Request. The request goes to the Veribl team, and requests decide what gets built next.
