Product Statuses & Publishing
Products in Veribl follow a lifecycle from creation to publication. Understanding product statuses helps you manage your catalog and control what consumers can see.
Product statuses
- Draft — the product is being set up and is not visible to consumers. All new products start as drafts.
- Published — the product is live and accessible via QR code. Consumers can view the product page, register, and use AI Support Chat.
- Archived — the product has been removed from your active catalog but its data is preserved. Consumers scanning the QR code see a limited page.
Publish a product
When your product is ready to go live:
- Open the product from Products
- Review the product details and content sections
- Click Publish in the top toolbar
- The product is now live — consumers can access it via QR code
Tip: Preview the consumer product page before publishing by clicking Preview. This shows exactly what consumers will see.
Unpublish a product
To take a product offline temporarily:
- Open the published product
- Click Unpublish in the top toolbar
- The product returns to draft status
Existing QR codes will show a "product unavailable" message. You can republish at any time without generating new QR codes.
Archive a product
To remove a product from your active catalog:
- Open the product
- Click Archive (or select multiple products and use bulk archive)
- The product moves to the Archive tab
Archived products are preserved for records but are no longer actively managed. View archived products under Products > Archive.
Restore an archived product
- Navigate to Products > Archive
- Find the product and click Restore
- The product returns to draft status, ready to be edited and republished
