Creating Products

Learn how to create and configure products in Veribl, including required fields, content sections, and product families.

Before you start

Complete your company profile in Settings > Company before creating products. Your company details appear on consumer-facing product pages, so this information should be accurate.

Create a new product

  1. Navigate to Products in the sidebar
  2. Click New product in the top-right corner
  3. Fill in the product details
  4. Click Save or continue adding content

Required fields

  • Product name — the consumer-facing product name
  • Model number — your internal identifier (used for product lookup)

Optional fields

  • Serial number — unique identifier for individual units
  • Category — product type for organization and compliance requirements
  • Description — brief product summary shown on the consumer page
  • Brand — if different from your company name
  • Product URL — link to your product page on your website
  • Images — product photos for the consumer product page
  • Product family — group related products together (e.g., different sizes or colors)

Add content sections

Content sections appear on the consumer product page and power the AI Support Chat:

  • Features & specifications — key product details (dimensions, weight, materials)
  • Care instructions — maintenance and usage guidance for consumers
  • Warranty information — coverage details, duration, and claim process
  • User manual — upload PDF or link to product documentation
  • Repair information — repair guides and authorized service centers
  • End-of-life — disposal, recycling, and return instructions

Tip: The more content you add, the better the AI Support Chat can answer consumer questions. Include common troubleshooting steps and FAQs in your content sections.

Product families

Product families group related products (e.g., a t-shirt available in multiple sizes or colors):

  1. Navigate to Data Model > Product Families in the sidebar
  2. Click New family and give it a name
  3. When creating or editing a product, assign it to the family

Products in the same family share a parent page, making it easy for consumers to find related variants.

Save and continue

Products are saved as drafts automatically. You can leave at any time and return to continue editing. When your product is ready, publish it to make it live.
