Publishing a Passport

Once your product data and compliance fields are complete, you can publish your Digital Product Passport and generate QR codes.

Pre-publish checklist

Before publishing, Veribl validates that your product meets all requirements:

• All required compliance fields are filled
• Material composition percentages total 100%
• Carbon footprint data includes required lifecycle stages
• At least one product image is uploaded

If any checks fail, you'll see specific guidance on what needs to be fixed.

Publish your passport

1. Open your product and go to the Passport tab
2. Review the DPP preview — this is what consumers will see
3. Click Publish
4. Your passport is now live and accessible via QR code

Download QR codes

After publishing:

1. Click Download QR on the passport tab
2. Choose your format — PNG, SVG, or PDF
3. Select the size appropriate for your packaging

QR codes are unique per product and link directly to the live DPP. They remain valid even if you update your product data.

Unpublish a passport

If you need to take a passport offline:

1. Open the product and go to the Passport tab
2. Click Unpublish
3. The QR code will show a "passport unavailable" message to scanners

You can republish at any time without generating new QR codes.
