Editing a Product

Update your product information at any time. Changes to published products update the live Digital Product Passport automatically.

Edit product details

1. Navigate to Products from the sidebar
2. Click on the product you want to edit
3. Make your changes in any tab
4. Changes are saved automatically

What you can edit

Basic information

Update the product name, description, SKU, images, and other core details. Changes take effect immediately on your DPP.

Compliance data

Update material composition, carbon footprint, repairability scores, and other compliance fields. Veribl re-validates your data after each change.

Content

Add or modify product features, care instructions, and support documentation. Updated content is reflected in AI Support Chat responses.

Version history

Veribl maintains a version history for every product. To view past versions:

1. Open the product editor
2. Click History in the top toolbar
3. Select a version to preview
4. Optionally restore a previous version

Bulk editing

For changes that apply to multiple products:

1. Go to Products and select the products you want to edit
2. Click Bulk edit in the toolbar
3. Choose the fields to update
4. Apply changes across all selected products

This is useful for updating shared compliance data, categories, or brand information across your catalog.
